EICRs

In June 2020, new Regulations came into force which ensure the electrical safety of all rented residential properties. These new Regulations require landlords to have the electrical installations in their properties inspected and tested by a person who is qualified and competent, at an interval of at least every 5 years. Landlords have to provide a copy of the electrical safety report to their tenants, and to their local authority if requested. This is commonly known as an EICR.

At Greenhall Electrical Services, we are able to facilitate these reports and issue certificates. We can of course complete any rectifications necessary, after discussion with the landlord. Our credentials can be checked using the link below.

Ventilation

Many properties have problems with damp and condensation. This can be a costly issue for landlords to resolve. We can offer an efficient solution which is proven to work.

PIV (Positive Input Ventilation) units will draw in air from outside, filter it and circulate it around the property. Installing these units will mean that problems caused by damp and condensation are alleviated and often completely eradicated, at a fraction of the cost you may expect.
